This educational event will help you to learn about the early signs and symptoms of heart attacks and strokes and what to do if these are experienced. You will become acquainted with how to prevent cardiovascular events in terms of modifiable and nonmodifiable risk factors. Information about how to manage and cope with cardiovascular disease processes will be discussed and steps that should be taken to prevent future events. You will have the opportunity to learn about hands only CPR and practice this skill. Class is offered by: Dyer Stroke and Cardiac Coordinators from Franciscan Health.
