Nocturnal Nature Night
Skunks, Owls, Opossums & More
Discover the magic of the natural world after dark at Nocturnal Nature Night, a family-friendly evening hosted by Humane Indiana Wildlife.
Guests can enjoy up-close encounters with nocturnal wildlife ambassador animals like owls, skunks, and opossums, hands-on activities and nature-inspired crafts, and the chance to explore the outdoors at night. The evening may also include local food trucks and vendors, special character visits, storytelling, and a guided night hike to spot bats, owls, and other nighttime wildlife.
All proceeds support Humane Indiana’s Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center.
Admission
Admission is $20 per carload, with a discounted rate of $15 for carloads that include passengers who are seniors and/or children under 12. Tickets are not available for presale, and will be sold at the gate on the day of the event. Cash or card payments will be accepted.

- Ephemeral Flower Walk - Humane Indiana Wildlife will provide wildflower field guides and common flowers list; enjoy this self-guided scavenger hunt at your own pace during the event!
Humane Indiana Wildlife Animal Ambassador Meet & Greets
Visit with an opossum, skunk, eastern screech owl, broad wing hawk, great horned owl, short-eared owl, saw-whet owl, American kestral, and box turtle! Enjoy meeting a new animal every half hour during the event!
