Five premier metal tribute bands unite under one roof for A Not-So-Silent Night at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana’s Hard Rock Live venue on Saturday, December 28. Tributes to Slipknot, Tool, Korn, Slayer and Pantera – all perform on one night! Doors open at 5 p.m.
The Subliminal Verses, a tribute to Slipknot is the big headliner of the evening. There is no denying that Chicagoland has become somewhat of a breeding ground for tribute bands in a way one might have never imagined. Throughout this ongoing cesspool of onstage mockery, sat a project in a dark attic, tightly kept in a box and tucked away in a corner where nobody could find it. As one can imagine, some things don't stay hidden forever... The contents of that box would eventually make its way out of that attic and The Subliminal Verses were given the opportunity to bring one of the most iconic metal bands of our time to life for the people of the Midwest. Their dedicated representation of the masked nonet is blended perfectly with an interactive live show that will leave the audience with a feeling of authenticity that almost unmatched. Through raw onstage aggression, the band prides themselves on replicating the glory days of Slipknot.
Also featured is Tool tribute Lateralus. With uncanny precision and raw energy, they recreate the intricate soundscapes and powerful rhythms that define Tool's music. Brace yourself for an immersive experience that captures the essence of one of rock's most iconic bands.
Over the past 10 years, Freak on A Leash have worked hard at creating a name for themselves in the Chicagoland tribute scene while replicating the golden days of Korn. The band is well-known for their high energy performances and unique ability to create a party atmosphere that you typically would not encounter with a heavier band. What was intended to be a one-time performance, evolved into a decade of intense live shows, paving the way for the band to achieve some pretty impressive milestones along the way.
With the mighty SLAYER now, very sadly, dormant… Reign in Blood was born to bring the most aggressive, yet accurate experience of a live Slayer show. There hasn’t been a strong Slayer tribute band in the area since Hell Awaits. It is our drive to be that for Chicago and the surrounding area.
Sandblasted Skin is a Pantera Tribute Band based out of Northwest Indiana and formerly known as Far Beyond Vulgar. For over ten years, Sandblasted Skin has been dedicated to delivering the sheer raw power of Pantera as it is intended to be delivered.
