Lookingglass Theatre's beloved Holiday Classic is back and on the Big Screen! 

Experience The Steadfast Tin Soldier like you’ve never seen it before. As a part of our Lookingglass REELS series, we’re bringing you a weekend full of wonder. From Prosecco and Party Pants to Puppets and Popcorn, we’ve got the whole family covered. 

Starting at only $25, this is a weekend you won’t want to miss.

 

Saturday, Dec 16

7:00 pm  -  Prosecco and Party Pants: The Steadfast Tin Soldier on the Big Screen 

Join us for a screening of The Steadfast Tin Soldier on the Big Screen. Following the viewing, engage in a discussion with WTTW’s Geoffrey Baer moderating conversation with creative team, writer/director/adaptor, and Ensemble Member, Mary Zimmerman, costume designer, Ana Kuzmanic, and sound designer and Ensemble Member, André Pluess. 

In support of Lookingglass Theatre Company’s gglassworks program for new plays: 

$50 Tickets (includes prosecco. You bring the party pants.) 

7:30PM - Screening at The Joan and Paul Theatre at Lookingglass with a special welcome by Lookingglass Team Members, Aurélia Fisher Cohen and Ensemble Member, Phil Smith 

Sunday, Dec 17

11:00 am  -  Pancakes, Puppets, and PJs: The Steadfast Tin Soldier on the Big Screen 

Keep those pjs on! The Department of Curiosity invites your family to unlock your winter magic, featuring a Puppetry Pop-Up led by Ensemble Member Kasey Foster, Winter Fantasy Face Painting, activities, and interactive stations. Artistic Associates Samuel Taylor and Lindsey Noel Whiting, will be flipping their signature Long Table Pancakes and popcorn from Joibilee Popcorn will be available for all to enjoy before the big screening of The Steadfast Tin Soldier. Come out of the cold and into the warmth of our storycastle for this truly unique event! BYOBlanket.
