You are cordially invited to "Power in the Public Narrative," a six-part health webinar series presented by Public Narrative in partnership with Congo Square Theatre and as part of their Celebration of Healing initiative.
Congo Square Theatre is hosting the latest iteration of its Celebration of Healing, a programming initiative they started last fall. It is in conjunction with the official world premiere (March 17) of "How Blood Go" by Cleveland-based playwright Lisa Langford at Steppenwolf's 1700 Theater (1700 N. Halsted Street), playing now through April 23, 2023. "How Blood Go" analyzes the past, present, and future racial inequality in America's healthcare system and is presented as part of Steppenwolf's LookOut Series. The Celebration of Healing aims to examine the real-world implications of the biases articulated in the play.
Public Narrative is proud to partner with Congo Square for their Celebration of Healing initiative this year. We will be hosting a series of events focusing on holistic public health conversations that generate solutions to improve health systems in Chicago. Registration is now LIVE, so save your seat while spots last.
