WNDR Museum, Chicago’s original immersive art and technology experience located in the city’s West Loop, today announced its expanded menu in the newly unveiled WNDR Lounge, with additions including a customizable WNDR Bar ice cream station in partnership with Pretty Cool Ice Cream and two flavors of WNDR Whirlees. The recently relocated WNDR Lounge, which features bar and lounge-style seating, is now open for ticketed and non-ticked guests.
“With the launch of the WNDR Bar and WNDR Whirlee, we aim to bring the same ethos of fun and interactivity to our Lounge space as we do to our ever-evolving collection of installations,” said WNDR Museum’s Chris Cloud. “Bringing these fantastic culinary additions to fruition with a partner like Pretty Cool Ice Cream has been such a rewarding process and we look forward to welcoming guests in to enjoy this new facet of the WNDR experience.”

In partnership with Chicago’s Pretty Cool Ice Cream, the WNDR Bar allows guests to choose their own ice cream adventure. Starting with a vanilla bean or chocolate fudge ice cream bar base, guests can customize their treat by choosing three tasty toppings from a curated list of nine ingredients before topping everything off with their choice of a decadent chocolate drizzle. Novelty toppings include wild Thai bananas, bubu arare, Hawaiian toasted coconut, astronaut mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches, mini gummy bears, candied sunflower seeds, chocolate pebbles, Big Fat Cookie crumbs and a WNDR sprinkle blend.
In addition to the WNDR Bar station, guests can also try the new WNDR Whirlee, a vibrant slushie available in Frosé for guests 21+, as well as a non-alcoholic Blue Bliss flavor.
Keeping with its commitment to support and uplift local businesses, WNDR Museum will feature a number of small business pop-ups in the lounge, with Brite Donuts and Baked Goods currently offering fresh pastries and more every weekend with more vendors to be featured.
The WNDR Lounge is accessible to both ticketed and non-ticketed guests from a designated entrance on Monroe St. and is open during regular WNDR Museum hours. General admission tickets to the museum start at $32 and must be purchased in advance at www.wndrmuseum.com.
