
WHAT: WBEZ Chicago is hosting a conversation with Jeff Tweedy on the transportive power of music with a few acoustic performances by Tweedy, portraying his vast and revered catalog.
Jeff Tweedy’s songwriting has woven itself tightly into the lives of his fans around the world. In his newest book, World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music, the longtime Chicago musician reflects on 50 songs that have inspired his own work with Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, and as a solo artist.
WHAT ELSE: All ticket holders will receive a pre-signed copy of World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music before they hit bookshelves on Nov 7.
