VIPS Applications Due By THIS THURSDAY, October 10th
The Munster PD is currently accepting applications for a new Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) class.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and pass a criminal background check. Those selected for service will be asked to attend 2-hour training classes on Tuesday evenings from October 15th through November 12th.
Applications are available from the Munster Police Department’s Records window (1001 Ridge Road), Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, and must be returned to Records by Thursday, Oct.10th at 4:00pm.
Our VIPS provide great assistance and support for our police department in a variety of ways.
