Building the Future Vocational Scholarship supports scholarships for Lake County residents to attend a public or private institution to earn a certificate or vocational/trade school degree with the intent to gain local employment.
All vocational programs are encouraged to apply, including CDL programs, Cosmetology, Computer Science, and Culinary Arts!
Eligibility Criteria
- Current high school senior, GED graduates, current post-high school students, or adults returning to education.
- 2.5 GPA (Current high school seniors only)
- Current Lake County, Indiana resident
The number and amount of awards will vary; minimum of $500 will be awarded per recipient.
