The United Male Chorus of Gary and Vicinity, Inc. will perform at the historic Van Buren Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday, June 1st, at 4:00PM In The Afternoon. In 1950, on the first Sunday in June, under the pastorate of the late Rev. J.J. Overstreet, the United Male Chorus began "singing praises unto the Lord" at Van Buren Church. The year 2025, represents the United Male Chorus' 75th Anniversary Annual Concert at this Gary Midtown locale.
The United Male Chorus is an all-male singing chorus, which is comprised of men from Gary and Northwest Indiana area churches, accompanied by some of the region's greatest Directors and Musicians. The current President of the United Male Chorus is Mr. Brandon Rudd.
The colors for the 75th Anniversary Annual Concert are white and lavender. Admission is free and open to the General Public.
