The Towle Theater is proud to present An Evening with Dickens or A One-Man Christmas Carol, an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Christmas classic by Jim LaPietra, directed by Towle Theater Managing Director, Jeff Casey, and starring Jim LaPietra. This production is sponsored by Calumet College of St. Joseph.
The classic story as only Dickens, himself, could tell it. In this one man-version of A Christmas Carol, the famous author takes us on a journey alongside Ebenezer Scrooge through the Past, the Present, and the Future as he comes face-to-face with ghosts, spirits, and our greatest fear as humans: Change.
The Towle Theater is pleased to welcome back Jim LaPietra to their stage. Jim was last seen in the musical Reefer Madness, as the Lecturer and previously appeared in the 2021 Fabulous 50’s Christmas.
An Evening with Dickens or A One-Man Christmas Carol runs December 1-3, 7-9. Performances on Fridays and Saturdays are at 8pm and Sundays are at 2pm. The box office opens 1 hour prior to performance time. Tickets (only $24) must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Group rates are available. There is no late seating.
