The Towle Theater is excited to announce the show line up for the 20th Season. The performers in all four shows are comprised of cast members from previous Towle productions such as Reefer Madness, Night Tide, Mama’s Boy, Hope and Gravity and Vivian Leigh to name a few. The Towle is excited to welcome back the performers to a thrilling season of shows sponsored by Leon Dombrowski & Seda Turan and Accucraft Imaging.
The season opens with the musical Love, Linda (The Life of Mrs. Cole Porter) staring Linda J Wilczynski and sponsored by Calumet Electric Supply Corp. In this tour-de-force one-woman show, Linda Lee Thomas (Mrs. Cole Porter), candidly recounts, through song and story, her life’s journey with Cole Porter. Though Porter was gay, their companionship and love lasted through 35 years of marriage and a spectacular, glamour-filled life. With innovative arrangements, the timeless music and lyrics of Cole Porter weave through the compelling narrative of Love, Linda, examining the darker sides of their life, while also celebrating the deep love that blossomed through their unconventional relationship. The show runs February 24-26, March 3-5, 2023.
The second show of the season is the comedy, Women in Jeopardy!. Featuring RJ Cecott, Alli Charton, Linda Cunningham, Emil Ginter, Stephanie Rohr & Rachel Silvert and is sponsored by Vanis Salon & Day Spa and Meyers Glaros. Thelma and Louise meets The First Wives Club in this fun and flirtatious comedy. Divorcées Mary and Jo are suspicious of their friend Liz’s new dentist boyfriend. He’s not just a weirdo; he may be a serial killer! After all, his hygienist just disappeared. Trading their wine glasses for spy glasses, imaginations run wild as the ladies try to discover the truth and save their friend in a hilarious off-road adventure. Performances are May 5-7, 12-14, 2023.
The summer musical at the Towle is Murder Ballad. This show features Ryan Alan Jones, Christopher Place, Beck Buechel and Natalie Rae. Murder Ballad is the dramatic story of a love triangle gone wrong, centering on Sara, an uptown girl who seems to have it all, but whose downtown past lingers enticingly and dangerously in front of her. This musical runs July 7-9, 14-16, 2003.
The final show of the 2023 season is Sidekicked sponsored by Gladish Law Group and staring Linda J Wilczynski. Vivian Vance, best known as Ethel Mertz on I Love Lucy, breaks down her troubled past both on and off the TV screen in this biographical one-woman tour de force. The performances for Sidekicked are September 8-10, 15-17, 2023.

The Season Preview on January 7 & 8, 2023 features a reception beginning at 7 p.m. and performance at 8 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday, the reception is at 1 p.m. and performance is at 2 p.m. The event is $5 to subscribers who have 2023 Season Tickets. Tickets are only $10 to non-subscribers and they can apply $5 of that toward the purchase of a Season Ticket at the Preview. Any patron who would like to attend must reserve a ticket prior to the show date and tickets are non-refundable. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to curtain as there will be no late seating.
