On July 6th the Munster Police Department’s K-9 Unit held their 2nd Annual Golf and Community Outing at Centennial Park to raise funds for the care of K-9s Vader, Lucy, Skye, and Ozzy.
The event began with a golf outing followed by lunch, a casino, beer garden, and cigar lounge for those participants.
The community outing portion began at 11:00AM and included prizes, bingo, a dunk tank, booth participants, food vendors, K-9 demonstrations, t-shirt sales, and more.
The Munster Police Department would like to thank the many residents who came out to golf or to attend our other activities that day, as well as the many generous sponsors (including the Munster Chamber of Commerce, pictured below) and volunteers who helped to make this year’s event a success.
