The Munster Police Department held our most recent Coffee with a Cop Event Friday, June 7th at Dunkin Donuts.
During the event, participants were able to meet some of our officers and K-9’s, talk about any concerns, and enter their children to win prizes in a free drawing. We had a great turnout at the store that morning.
In addition, a large number of residents provided donations towards the K-9 Unit either after walking up to meet them or while in the drive-thru lane. We greatly appreciate the generous donors who provided funds to support the care of our four K-9’s (Vader, Lucy, Skye, and Ozzy).
THANK YOU to Dunkin Donuts for hosting the event and for providing special treats for our police dogs. We also appreciate everyone who stopped by to talk with our police officers, meet our K-9’s, or provide donations. Our K-9 Unit is supported completely through donations so your support is very much appreciated.
We look forward to holding another Coffee with a Cop event later this year.
