The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra is celebrating its 20th anniversary season with Maestro Kirk Muspratt with a Pre-concert Party, Friday, March 4, 2022, from 4:30 – 6:45 pm at Gamba Ristorante, 455 E. 84th Dr., Merrillville. The party will feature heavy hos d’oeuvres, desserts, and an open bar.
“Northwest Indiana has been my artistic home for the past 20 seasons,” Maestro Muspratt said. “I thank you for welcoming this Canadian musician into your lives, and I hope that I have contributed something of quality, beauty, and joy to yours.”
Following the party, the Symphony will perform Rach & Blue, featuring pianist Wael Farouk. The concert is a mix of lively classical and contemporary pieces, including Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.”
Tickets for the party are $125 for individuals, and tables of eight are available starting at $1000. Tickets for the Symphony concert, Rach & Blue, are not included in the ticket price, but can be purchased separately. Tickets for the concert range from $35 -$75 each and students are $10. Concert season subscriptions are still available.
