This afternoon, July 13th, a trooper at the Indiana State Police Lowell Post was requested to take a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had been stolen after it was left parked on I-80/94 near Burr St.
After taking the initial report, troopers later located the vehicle in an area of 9th and Roosevelt St. in Gary, IN. Additional vehicles were also located in this area.
This is an ongoing investigation. No further information is available for release.
The Indiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division is being assisted by the Gary Police Department and the Gary Auto Theft Division.
