Anything goes these days on the Red Carpet, so you won’t want to miss the pre-show festivities at the 55th Anniversary Jeff Awards for Equity Theater Monday, October 2nd at Drury Lane Theatre.
The evening will begin at 6:15pm with a Red Carpet event featuring nominees, theater industry luminaries, and future stars of the Chicagoland theater community. Jeff Award members Jody Greenspan and Brittany Chhutani will serve as greeters before the program begins.
The 55th Anniversary Jeff Awards ceremony recognizes theater excellence over the 2022-23 Equity season and honors the dedicated artists, behind the scenes teams and theater companies. This year’s nominees include 201 theater artists across 38 categories of excellence in theater production among shows from 43 companies.
Don’t miss the star-studded event Monday, October 17th at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The program, which starts at 7:30pm, will feature dazzling production numbers from Big River (Mercury Theater Chicago), Cabaret (Porchlight Music Theatre), A Chorus Line (Drury Lane Theatre), Damn Yankees (Marriott Theatre), Fun Home (Paramount Theatre), The Gospel at Colonus (Court Theatre), Hello, Dolly! (Marriott Theatre), Into the Woods (Paramount Theatre), London Road (Shattered Globe Theatre), The Notebook (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Once (Writers Theatre), Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Mercury Theater Chicago), The Sound of Music (Paramount Theatre) and The Who's Tommy (Goodman Theatre).
