The South Bend Civic Theatre presents The Birds, by Conor McPherson, from a story by Daphne du Maurier.
THE BIRDS is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection.
Conor McPherson’s thriller, set in “near future” Ireland, looks in on three strangers who shelter together as society collapses around them. Taking refuge in an abandoned house, Nat, Diane, and Julia find relative sanctuary from the flocks of attacking birds outside, but remain vulnerable to dwindling food supplies, a mysterious neighbor — and each other.
