
October 19, 2022. Marriott Theatre presents SOMEDAY AT CHRISTMAS: JOHN-MARK MCGAHA SINGS STEVIE WONDER. Acclaimed singer, storyteller, actor, and multi-instrumentalist John-Mark McGaha (THE RAY CHARLES LEGACY, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE) will share Stevie Wonder's musical messages of Joy, Love, and Peace on Earth. The concert will be performed twice, on Monday, December 12, at 7:30 pm and Tuesday, December 13 at 1:30 pm.
In SOMEDAY AT CHRISTMAS: JOHN - MARK MCGAHA SINGS STEVIE WONDER, the talented, joyful, and generous McGaha sheds a personal light upon the miraculous life of one of America's greatest singer/songwriters, with a set that includes Wonder’s Christmas songs along with some of his greatest hits. BROADWAY WORLD calls his voice "crystal clear perfection." Songs include "Someday At Christmas," "My Cherie Amour," "That's What Christmas Means To Me," "For Once in My Life," "Ave Maria," and "I Just Called to Say I Love You."

John-Mark McGaha. Broadway World calls his voice "crystal-clear perfection." Singer, storyteller, actor, and multi-instrumentalist John-Mark McGaha starred Off-Broadway in the musical CAFE A GOGO. Other credits include playing jazz great Lionel Hampton in TUXEDO JUNCTION; SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE; VIOLET; THE RAY CHARLES LEGACY; THE SINATRA LEGACY; and THE CASH LEGACY at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium. Television appearances include a musical guest spot in BET’s CENTRIC CELEBRATES SELMA: 50TH ANNIVERSARY MUSIC SPECIAL.
Concerts include SIGNED, SEALED DELIVERED: JOHN-MARK MCGAHA SINGS STEVIE WONDER and A NAT KING COLE CHRISTMAS. The Birmingham, Alabama native began playing classical piano at the age of five. McGaha attended Birmingham Southern College as well as American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York. His central passion is worshipping God in spirit and truth. He serves as Director of Contemporary Worship and Arts at Trinity United Methodist Church in Birmingham. John and wife Grace have five beautiful children.
