The Munster Civic Foundation is hosting a public art project during the summer of 2022. After considering several subjects, a tulip became the obvious choice. As the first flower to bloom after a long winter, it marks a new season and fresh beginnings. Since Munster was founded by Dutch farmers, the tulip is also a cheery nod to the Town’s history.
We have 5-foot fiberglass tulips on order, and we have solicited sponsors for the artwork. We have a few tulips available if you would like to sponsor a tulip or know someone who interested in sponsorship.
We have reached the time in the project where we need to match artists with the sponsors.
If you are still interested in participating in the program, please provide your contact information, and photo examples of your artwork.
The Civic Foundation has a fixed stipend of $750 for each artist for the project. Several sponsors have opted to select their own artist but would like us to share a list with them, if a sponsor contacts you directly, you have some flexibility with the price.
