After making a traffic stop on the vehicle, he spoke with the driver and learned that the driver’s license was suspended.  Trooper Brant Goubeaux assisted and attempted to identify the female passenger.  The passenger identified herself as a female with a date of birth in 1949.  She further stated that she was 74 years old.  Both Troopers noted that it was quite obvious that the passenger could not have been born in 1949.  The provided date of birth would have made her 71 years old.  A computer check indicated that Patricia Jackson was an alias for Regina A. Jackson, Date of Birth: 06-08-1965.  Regina Jackson was found to have multiple outstanding warrants for her arrest.  Regina Jackson admitted that she had been using false identities to avoid capture for several years.  Miss Jackson was taken into custody without incident and transported to Lake County Jail.  Another family member who was found to have a valid Driver’s License took possession of the Impala.

The driver of the Impala was issued several citations and the vehicle was released to a valid driver.  Miss Jackson is preliminarily charged with False Informing, a Class B Misdemeanor.  She was also being held for several outstanding warrants which included the following:

  • Forgery- Class C Felony
  • Fraud on a Financial Institution- Class C Felony
  • Theft- Class D Felony
  • Theft- Class A Misdemeanor
  • Conversion- Class A Misdemeanor
  • Driving While Suspended-Prior- Class A Misdemeanor
  • Refusal to Identify- Class B Misdemeanor

All persons named in this release are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in court. All charges mentioned are merely accusations, actual charges will be determined by the Lake County Prosecutor's Office.
