
The nonprofit Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA) is excited to announce a vibrant summer of public programs that cater to event goers of all ages in Rogers Park. Programming includes a wide span of the neighborhood’s most popular entertainments, from art festivals, artisan fairs, kid-centric events, neighborhood-wide garage sales, to taco and pierogi extravaganzas. Most events are free to the public, but the Taco Crawl will be ticketed. For more information and event updates, visit RPBA.org. Every Monday from June 1 to October 26 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Jarvis Square, 1500 Block of Jarvis Avenue
Jarvis Square is hosting a Twilight Market every Monday beginning June 1, where patrons can browse local growers, artisans, and food vendors “after hours”.
Music Fest: First Friday Music Series
Friday, June 5 and September 4 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Multiple businesses along Sheridan Road between Devon Avenue and Pratt Boulevard.
Live performances by local musicians.
Art Market: Jarvis Square Summer Artisan Markets
Saturday, June 13, July 11, August 22, and September 12, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Jarvis Square, 1500 Block of Jarvis Avenue
Jarvis Square will be hosting an Artisan Market once a month throughout the summer where 28 rotating local makers will sell products ranging from candles, body care, soaps, plants, cards, to one-of-a-kind treasures, handbags, jewelry, macrame, oddities, and more.
Community Fest: Jarvis Square Community Rummage
Saturday, June 20 and September 26, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Jarvis Square, 1500 Block of Jarvis Avenue
Residents and visitors alike are invited to participate in the Jarvis Square Alfresco Rummage Sale, a vibrant community event that transforms the square into an open-air marketplace. Participants are encouraged to clean out their closets and reserve a space to sell their goods or browse and discover one-of-a-kind treasures. This event will feature ten individual rummage sales set up throughout Jarvis Square, with additional sales taking place across the surrounding neighborhood.
PRIDE Celebration: North Side Queer Pride
Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28
Multiple locations across Rogers Park, including Glenwood Avenue between Lunt and Farwell, Jarvis Square, Jarvis Avenue between Greenview and Sheridan, a block of Paulina between Howard and Juneway, and businesses on Clark Street and Devon Avenue. Neighborhood-wide celebration of queer joy, cultural diversity, and community connection.
Family Fest: Kids’ Rave
Saturday, July 12 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Jarvis Square, 1500 Block of Jarvis Avenue
Jarvis Square will host a high-energy, family-friendly daytime dance party for kids and parents to enjoy together, featuring kid-friendly EDM, techno, and pop. There will be bubbles, music, and fun!
Food Fest: Taco Crawl
Thursday, July 16, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
North Clark Street between Devon and Rogers Avenues
Tickets are $25-$35
Over a dozen restaurants lining North Clark Street—one of the city’s most popular dining destinations for Mexican restaurants—offer their signature menu items for a taco extravaganza. Participating restaurants and an event menu will be announced later.

Vintage lovers can hunt for the next one-of-a-kind find at Jarvis Square’s Vintage Flea Market. Vintage clothes, antiques, vinyl, and furniture vendors will line the 1500 block of Jarvis Avenue, transporting patrons to the past.
Food Fest: Pierogi Fiesta

Art Fest: Chalk Howard Street

Howard Street between Paulina Street and Ashland Avenue
Chicago’s only 3D chalk art festival, Chalk Howard Street invites national and local street artists, neighbors, families, and street art lovers to transform Howard Street in Rogers Park into a creative canvas. Chalk Howard Street features internationally renowned 3D street artists and local 2D chalk artists, as well as emerging artists and kids’ art, creating vivid, interactive chalk drawings for art lovers, families, and summer fest-goers. The family-friendly festival in Rogers Park will highlight the street's shops, restaurants, and global cuisine, plus it will offer street squares available for purchase to the public and include live music while offering striking and immersive street art experiences. Enjoy DJs, great food and drinks, and many opportunities to experience art.
