• It is no understatement to say Gustav Holst’s The Planets is one of the most iconic pieces of classical music ever written. The work, finished in 1917 and based more on astrology than astronomy, inspired countless other composers — including Star Wars composer John Williams!
• Speaking of iconic: In 2005, The American Film Institute named the Star Wars soundtrack the most memorable score of all time for an American film.
