The 90-minute play is directed by Jacqueline Stone, who is co-artistic director of TUTA Theatre. A minimal set features dirt placed all around the stage and sheets through which audience members can see shadows. It truly sets the stage in a dramatic and almost eerie way for this intense production.
A trio of actors stars in the show. All are excellent at their craft. Starring as Raskolnikov is Clifton Frei while Felix stars as Sonia and Huy Nguyen portrays Porfiry, an inspector who drills and toys with Raskolnikov's mind. Frei and Nguyen also portray multiple characters in the show.
