Love, in "all its forms," was in the air in Chicago last weekend courtesy of Patti LuPone.
The acclaimed songstress delivered her "Matters of the Heart" show to an enthusiastic crowd at The Auditorium on Jan.31. It was a concert filled with varied love songs - tunes about love found, lost and love gone terribly wrong.
LuPone is a perfect person to deliver these musical selections as her performances are always stamped with much passion, power, emotion and humor.

The singer, who is the winner of Tony, Olivier and Grammy Awards, is currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of the "Matters of the Heart" show and album.
LuPone performed to a full house of fans who showered her with applause throughout the show and gave her a standing ovation at the concert's end.
The superstar singer proved in fine vocal form during the concert. She performed a mix of tunes including Broadway favorites and assorted pop songs.

Among highlights were "God Only Knows," "Love Makes The World Go Round," "The Air That I Breathe," "I'm in Love With A Wonderful Guy," "Easy To Be Hard" and "Time After Time."
