The Northwest Indiana Oilmen have announced details for an action-packed weekend of baseball at Oil City Stadium.
The fun begins on Thursday, June 23, as the Oilmen welcome the Chicago American Giants for 46394 Night sponsored by Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. Free tickets are available in Whiting at the Chamber of Commerce, Notre Dame FCU and the Mascot Hall of Fame. It’s also a Thirsty Thursday at the ballpark with first pitch slated for 7:10 p.m.
Hispanic Heritage Night will occur on Friday, June 24, as the Southland Vikings come to town for a 7:10 p.m. first pitch. That will be followed by Bark in the Park on Saturday, June 25 against the Joliet Generals at 6:10 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring their dog to the ballpark, and there will be a free doggie bandana giveaway.
