Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a boat accident that occurred yesterday on Jimmerson Lake in Fremont and injured an Ohio man.
At 7:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a boat accident with injuries near the Nevada Mills area of the lake.
On scene, officers discovered that Randy Peters, 56, of Bryan, Ohio, was operating a hydrofoil when he lost his balance and fell off, causing his hand to strike the vehicle’s propellor.
Peters was transported by ambulance to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne in stable condition with a serious hand injury.
