This year, we invite nominations across four esteemed categories:
- The Studs Terkel Award honors a comprehensive body of journalistic work that embodies the spirit of Louis "Studs" Terkel, a Chicago storytelling legend and PN's muse.
- The Uplifting Voices Award celebrates media professionals who amplify underrepresented voices in their work.
- The Ripple Effect Award acknowledges journalists whose work has significantly impacted beyond Chicago.
- The People's Choice Award, now in its second year, empowers the public to recognize both youth and adult media makers who have positively impacted their communities.
