The Munster Police Department would like to congratulate K-9 Officer Brian Hernandez and K-9 Skye who completed training and were certified as a Single Purpose Narcotics Detection Team this past week.
K-9 Skye will soon be hitting the streets of Munster and we wish her a long, safe, and successful career with our police department. Be sure to look for Officer Hernandez and Skye at various community events this summer.
Skye joins the other members of our K-9 Unit, Vader and Lucy, who have already proven to be valuable assets to our crime prevention and community outreach efforts.
