The Art Table Exhibition: A Show for All Artists
South Shore Arts is excited to present the next in its series of artist group spotlights “The Art Table Exhibition: A Show for All Artists,” at Substation No. 9, 435 Fayette Street, in downtown Hammond, Indiana.
The Art Table Exhibition will feature over twenty different local artists from northwest Indiana, and will showcase over sixty works of art, ranging from sculpture, to painting, to mixed media works. At the heart of the exhibit is a sense of celebration and collaboration between local artists. An exhibit which not only highlights the individual skillsets of the artists on view, but also the fruits of their joined labors, as many of the artworks are collaborative pieces. In the main exhibit space, guests will be invited to join in on the spirit of collaboration by participating in an interactive painting that will take shape over the course of the exhibition.

The Art Table founder, Lauren Thiel states, “The Art Table is a thriving art community based in Northwest Indiana, dedicated to empowering local artists and creating a nurturing environment where they can connect, learn, and grow. The Art Tables initiative focuses on uniting artists from diverse backgrounds, sharing knowledge and resources that can go on to generate new opportunities for creatives to showcase their talents and gain exposure.”
The Art Table Exhibition will take place through June 23, 2024.
