Please note that Indiana will soon begin offering 988 service to those who are contemplating suicide or facing a personal mental health crisis.
The new 988 service was available nationwide as of July 16, 2022, and will offer direct mental health assistance to those who are in emotional distress and require immediate attention.
The current Lifeline phone number (1-800-273-8255) will remain available to individuals who are facing any mental health crisis. The Lifeline and 988 phone number services are a product of the National Suicide Lifeline network.
