This past January 19th, a hockey game fundraiser for the Munster P.D.’s “Cops and Kids Program was organized by the Mustang Hockey Team in cooperation with the Lake Central Blue Team.
As a result of their efforts, the team presented Officer James Ghrist with a check for $1,000 this past week to benefit our program. The funds will help to purchase gifts for children in need during this year’s holiday season. We greatly appreciate the teams for their support of our community policing efforts.
