The Munster Police Department and Munster FOP are currently seeking donations through November 10th towards their annual “Cops & Kids” holiday shopping program for children in need.
Each year, Munster police officers and Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) take pre-selected children in need shopping for toys and clothing with funds that were donated by area residents, businesses, and community service organizations. Several thousand children 
have been assisted since 2005.
If you would like to provide a monetary donation, please make your check payable to the TOWN OF MUNSTER (memo: Cops & Kids) and mail it to the Munster Police Department, c/o D.A.R.E. Officer James Ghrist, 1001 Ridge Road, Munster, IN 46321.
