The Munster Police Department and Munster F.O.P. Lodge #147 are currently seeking donations through November 10th towards their annual “Cops & Kids” holiday shopping program for children in need.
Each year, police officers (with the assistance of Munster firefighters and Volunteers in Police Service) take pre-selected children in need shopping for toys and clothing with funds that were donated by area residents, businesses, and community service organizations.
If you would like to provide a monetary donation, please make your check payable to the TOWN OF MUNSTER (memo: Cops & Kids) and mail it to the Munster Police Department, c/o D.A.R.E. Officer James Ghrist, 1001 Ridge Road, Munster, IN 46321.
