Now through through June 17th, the Munster Police Department is seeking monetary donations towards Munster’s 28th Annual National Night Out Against Crime Celebration which will be held on Tuesday, August 1st at and around the area of the Munster Community Pool.
The National Night Out is celebrated in hundreds of communities throughout the United States to promote positive police and community partnerships through a variety of both fun and educational activities for all ages. Munster’s event is consistently ranked as one of the top National Night Out events in the United States, ranking #1 in 2020 and #5 in 2022 in our population category.
Last year’s event attracted thousands of participants and was our best event yet thanks to great support from the members of our community. This event is funded completely through donations from local residents, businesses, and community service organizations.
If you would like to provide a donation, please make checks payable to the TOWN OF MUNSTER (memo: NNO) and mail them to the Munster Police Department, c/o Officer James Ghrist, 1001 Ridge Road, Munster, IN 46321.
