On October 18th, twelve Munster Police officers participated as Community Readers at Eads Elementary School.
Each officer read a book with the lesson of honesty after attending a nice assembly that was provided by the Eads Leads students.
During the assembly, the school also presented a generous donation of over $1,000 towards the police department’s K-9 Program which was a result of a coin drive fundraiser that all of the students had participated in.
The Munster Police Department would like to thank the students and staff of Eads School for their generosity and support and we look forward to reading again in the future
