Looking for a comedic theatrical experience to enjoy this summer?
Midsommer Flight is currently entertaining audiences with its production of Shakespeare's "As You Like It." The production is taking place outdoors in local parks and runs through Aug. 2. Midsommer Flight's productions are free and take place in natural sunlight during the summer months. The troupe's shows are part of the Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks.

"As You Like It" has long been considered one of The Bard's most popular plays. Its storyline features many zany happenings as characters deal with tense family dynamics, mistaken identities, gender twists and misunderstandings in their quest for love. A joyous multiple wedding scene awaits at the show's end. "As You Like It" is also the play where audiences have the opportunity to hear the "All the World's A Stage" monologue.
The cast of "As You Like It" does a fine job of bringing Shakespeare's theatrical gem to life as their comedic timing and physical comedy are topnotch.

Starring in "As You Like It" are Stephanie Mattos, Barry Irving, Thomas Russell, Ian Voltaire Deanes, Ebby Offord, Chase Wheaton-Werle, Jack Morsovillo, Brandon Beach, Jennifer Mohr, Triniti Cruz, Connor O. Locklin and Riley Samuel Merritt.
