McAninch Arts Center (MAC), located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage, is proud to join Arts DuPage this October to celebrate Arts DuPage Month, which is also National Arts Month. The MAC is offering a $5 discount off select shows with discount code ARTSDP, plus some exclusive programming created for the month including a curator-led tour of the Cleve Carney Museum of Art (CCMA) with Justin Witte (Oct. 2), an up-close look into the world of the professional stage manager by Buffalo Theatre Ensemble (Oct. 3) and a behind-the-scenes theater tour by MAC Director Diana Martinez (Oct. 4).
In partnership with Arts DuPage Month, the MAC will be offering a special $5 discount off regular October show ticket prices on select shows with discount code ARTSDP. Professional shows eligible for this offer include BTE’s Oct. 4, 5 & 6 performances of Paul Slade Smith’s laugh-out-loud, rapid-fire political comedy “The Outsider” hailed by Broadway World as “funny, timely, and – dare we say – entirely possible,” and New Philharmonics “Ravel & Mahler” concerts (Oct. 5-6). Maestro Kirk Muspratt wanted to begin his 20th anniversary season with a big powerful piece, which is why he chose Mahler’s daunting Symphony No. 1 in D Major in these concerts. Additional professional shows eligible for the discount: Ballet Folklorico Quetzalcoatl with special guest vocalist Goyo (“Goyito”) Cruz (Oct. 12), Scott Keo – “The #1 Michael Bublé Tribute Worldwide” (Oct. 18) and Electric Avenue: “The 80s MTV Experience” (Oct. 26).
