
Legacy Foundation recently announced a round of funding totaling $296,926 to 23 organizations. The awards, which are distributed through the Foundation's Transform Lake County spring grant cycle, are intended to strengthen and empower nonprofits, neighborhoods, and residents in Lake County.

Transform Lake County grants are supported by the Lake County Community Fund and multiple Unrestricted Funds at Legacy Foundation. Additional support comes from the U.S. Steel/City of Gary Indiana Charitable Fund and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Donor Advised Fund for programs and activities serving the residents of Gary, Indiana. The Legacy Women’s Philanthropy Fund supports grants for Lake County women, children, and families.
