You Asked, We Answered!
Question: Where can I find Calumet Region telephone directories from the 1920's to the 1990's that are online and searchable?
Answer: We've posted these in our online Indiana Room!
This collection includes the communities of East Chicago, Gary, and Hammond; plus Calumet City, Lansing, and Burnham, Illinois. Other Lake County community listings can be found in these books as well.
You'll also find city directories for Crown Point, Hobart, Griffith and more.
Tip: When you visit the collection, use the Topics & Subjects menu on the left (or under Filters if you're on mobile) and click the boxes for 'City Directory' and 'Telephone Directory' to narrow your results.
