Ask a LibrarianYou Asked, We Answered!

Question: Some years ago, one of my kids (who was a teen at the time) attended an after-hours event during the summer reading program. Now that my youngest kid is a teenager, I was curious if that late-night/after-hours event still happened.

Answer: That sounds like our Teen Lock-In event, where teens who sign-up are allowed into the library after-hours for games, movies, snacks, and other fun activities. It's been a few years since we've hosted one, but we're bringing it back this summer!

This year's will be held on Saturday, July, 28th from 6pm-11pm. If your teen is interested, stop at your local branch and ask for a permission form. Also, feel free to email teens@lcplin.org if you have more questions.
