THINKING OF YOU. I MEAN ME. I MEAN YOU. Closes January 24
Don’t miss this museum-wide presentation of Barbara Kruger’s provocative and immersive installations—named a Washington Post “Best of 2021” exhibition. Inviting us to reflect on our relationship to contemporary culture and each other, the artist’s work “remains as incisive and brilliant as it ever was.”
And now with our Free Winter Weekdays continuing through March 17, all Illinois residents can see this exhibition and the rest of the museum for free on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Just be sure to reserve your ticket in advance.
Please also note a few important changes this month: the museum now closes at 5 p.m. every day, and all visitors ages 5 and up are required to show proof of vaccination. Proof can include a physical vaccine card, a photocopy of the card, a digital record or app on your phone, or a printed record from a vaccine provider. Those 16 and over must also show a photo ID.

We’re thrilled to welcome you back to a transformed Ryan Learning Center, the museum’s hub for activity and learning. This month, the RLC is open on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as Monday, January 17, so stop by to take part in drop-in art making and more.
