April 1st: Clean Slate Day
It's LCPL's 70th birthday, and Clean Slate Day is our gift to you! On April 1st (and no, it's not a prank) we'll wipe out all existing overdue fines, giving you a fresh start with your library card.
You don't have to do anything - all outstanding overdue fines will vanish automatically on April 1st.
Clean Slate Day is only for overdue fines, but if you have lost item fees sitting on your account please get in touch. We're happy to help out with those, too, so you can get back to using your library with no worries!
April 20: All Locations Closed
All LCPL locations will be closed April 20, 2022 for a staff training day.

You Asked, We Answered!
Question: Are there any volunteer options for teens at LCPL?
Answer: Yes! Teens (ages 12-18) can obtain volunteer hours by joining one of the branches' Teen Advisory Board (TAB) groups. TABs are a place where teens can make their voices heard in the library and the community by helping to plan and organize teen library programs and events.
Some of the branches offer in-person and/or virtual TAB meetings each month. Head to our events calendar and use the search function to find an upcoming meeting!
