
Director Laura Meyer is excited to announce that Footlight Players will be producing the award winning, musical revue, JERRY’S GIRLS on February 4-6, 11-13, and 18-20.
The songs featured in this show are some of the most unforgettable music since the heyday of Irving Berlin. This glorious musical showcases songs from Jerry Herman’s hit musicals, MAME, HELLO DOLLY, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, MACK AND MABLE, MILK AND HONEY and DEAR WORLD.
The cast includes three dynamos of community theater, Debbie Bartholomew, Danielle Bilderback, and Emmie Reigel, with a strong chorus of Kristin Allison, Kathy Chase, Adrianna LeDonne, Tara Lonzo, Deb Reason, and Jill Ritchie. The singers will be accompanied by Lee Meyer on keyboard and Noel Carlson on drums.
They will be musically directed by Lee C. Meyer and choreographed by Bilderback. Jessica Landis is Laura’s assistant and Bobby Komendera is the Production Manager.
The talented crew include Bartholomew as Costumer, Chase on Hair and Make-up, Chris West will be the Lighting Designer, Jim Snyder is the set designer, Joy Davidson is the Set Dresser and Chris Whybrew is the Scenic Artist.
Show times are 7:30 on Fridays and Saturdays with a 2:00 matinee on the Sundays. Adult Ticket price is $15.00 and $10.00 for children 12 and under.
The Footlight Theater is located at 1705 Franklin Street, Michigan City. There is no assigned seating, but reservations are strongly recommended to get a seat in this intimate 80 seat theater. Wearing a mask is required.
