Lake County- This afternoon (6/3/2024) at approximately 3:25 p.m., troopers were dispatched to the 7000 block of Madison St. in Hammond to investigate a report of a shooting that had occurred on I-80/94 near Calumet Avenue. A juvenile had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot injury as a result of a road rage incident that had taken place in the construction zone just east of the Indiana/Illinois state line.
