Administered by the Indiana DNR Community & Urban Forestry program, this funding is available through the USDA Forest Service Urban & Community Forestry Program.
Please see below for the two grant opportunities available and make sure to read the application instructions for each grant carefully. You may apply for more than one grant but receiving funding for more than one grant is not guaranteed.

Community & Urban Forestry Assistance (CUFA) grant
- Minimum $1,000-Maximum $30,000
- Projects may include inventories, management plans, tree plantings and more.
Small Town Big Trees
- Minimum $500-Maximum $5,000
- Only communities who have a population of 10,000 or less are eligible for this grant.
- Projects may include inventories, management plans, tree plantings and more.
