To help us celebrate our 30th Anniversary, Legacy Foundation is launching the I Love My Community grant program. This grant opportunity will provide funding for up to 30 interesting and engaging projects to improve Lake County’s livability and increase community attachment.
Lake County, Indiana residents, community groups, and grassroots community-based organizations having a 501(c)3 status serving Lake County, Indiana are eligible to apply.
We are looking for ideas that:
- Are neighborhood based and volunteer led.
- Enhance community connections in Lake County, Indiana.
- Incorporate novel approaches to creating a vibrant, connected community.
- Provide a measurable level of community involvement (volunteers or participants)
- Promote philanthropy across Lake County, Indiana communities.
All applications must be written and submitted by a resident/volunteer, not paid organization staff.
Award amounts:
$500
- Individuals and community groups without 501(c)3 status.
$1,000
- Individuals and community groups partnering with a 501(c)3 organization (Fiscal sponsorship)
- Grassroots community-based organizations with 501(c)3 status.
Applications must be submitted by 5 PM Central on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
