Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch
Start the holidays early this year with a visit to Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul, IL. This wonderful Christmas Tree Farm and Reindeer Ranch features 16 reindeer, over 5000 Christmas trees, a barn gift shop and a western style banquet hall! As Christmas approaches, it’s a magical time of year with the Reindeer. Get up close and friendly with Klondike, Flurry, Mistletoe and the other Alaskan Reindeer. Learn how the Hardy’s started with a small Christmas Tree Farm along with two reindeer and how it has grown into a major tourist attraction. For lunch we visit the ranch’s Western Style Banquet Hall, a great setting for our chuckwagon dinner, complete with tin plates, mugs and bandana napkins. Sit down to some of the best Texas BBQ you’ll ever experience! Following lunch, enjoy some of the area’s best performers entertaining us with music, comedy and a whole lot of fun! Before our departure there will be time to stop in the Country Barn Gift Shop, hand-built by the Hardy family with salvaged materials from old barns in the area. See its old potbelly stove heater and shop for ornaments, gifts and delicious treats! Arrive by 8:45 am for check in!
