Join Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana as they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with Celtic punk music, Irish themed menu items and some lucky new games on the casino floor.
The Tossers get the party started with a free concert on the Hard Rock Cafe stage on Friday, March 14 at 10 p.m. One of the first and most enduring bands on the Celtic punk underground, Chicago favorite the Tossers mix the attitude and swagger of punk rock with a muscular but respectful approximation of Irish traditional folk music. Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1993 by Anthony “T.” Duggins, the group’s lead singer and mandolin player, the Tossers developed a reputation for their storming live show and busy touring schedule, and they influenced similarly minded bands such as the Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly. The opening act is Three’s Company at 9 p.m. Three's Company is a trio band that offers a lot of hits from the 60's on up.
All weekend long, Friday, March 14 – Monday, March 17, the Hard Rock Cafe will feature a special Irish menu item – the Irish Smash Burger. This delicious burger is made up of two smashed burger patties, pub cheese, white cheddar cheese, cabbage bacon jam, smoked bacon and pickles, and it is served with seasoned fries.
There are also two specialty cocktails on the menu. The Irish Apple Crush features muddled green apples, Jameson Irish Whiskey, apple juice, lemon and Seagram’s Ginger Ale. Also on the menu is an Irish Coffee. This is made up of Jameson Irish Whiskey, coffee, brown sugar simple syrup and whipped cream. These specialty drinks will also be available March 14-17.
And if you are feeling the luck of the Irish, there is a brand-new set of slots on the gaming floor. In Charms Full Link by Konami Gaming, a magical leprechaun will keep you entertained on your journey to win a pot of gold. It features bright beautiful graphics of shamrocks, rainbows, mushrooms, and overflowing pots of gold. The game features Celtic coins, leprechaun hats, golden harps, and more.
