Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana will celebrate its third anniversary on Saturday,May 11 with a free concert by alternative rockers Eve 6 on the Hard Rock Cafe stage. The concert starts at 9 p.m.
Eve 6 rose to popularity in 1998 with their self-titled album Eve 6. Their megahit “Inside Out” catapulted them to the top of Billboard’s Alternative Airplay charts where it held the Number One position for four nonconsecutive weeks. Their second hit single, “Leech” reached Number 6 on the chart after receiving airplay and support from MTV. The three other hits on the album, “Superhero Girl,” “Open Road Song,” and “Tongue Tied” helped push the album to platinum status in 1999.
The 2000 follow up album Horrorscope built on the success of their debut album. The hit single, “Here’s to the Night” reached Number Seven on the Billboard Adult Top 40. In 2003 Eve 6 released their third album It’s All in Your Head which featured the hit single, “Think Twice” which rose to Number Nine on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart.
The band broke up in 2004. After several iterations, the southern California group reformed in 2011 featuring original members Max Collins on vocals and bass and Jon Siebels on guitar. Ben Hilzinger joined as drummer in 2018. Their latest album Hyper Relevisation was released in 2022.
